‘Django Unchained’ actress and her boyfriend Brian Lucas were both charged with lewd conduct on October 21.
The US actress of Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Django Unchained’ was handcuffed and briefly detained by Los Angeles police last month after she refused to show police her ID. Police had demanded to see the couple’s identification while they were kissing in a parked car on a Hollywood street.

But according to the spokesman for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, both of them were charged with a misdemeanour act of lewd conduct that entails a potential six-month term in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted.
The 28-year-old African-American actress and her boyfriend accused the police of racism for charging the two while kissing each other.
Watts and Lucas claimed, on their Facebook pages, that their rights have been violated and the detention reflected racial profiling.
The two are currently expecting an arraignment on 13 November.
