American comedian Bill Cosby accused of sexual abuse

Funnyman Bill Cosby, one of the TV’s most favorite dads, has been accused of sexual assault for the second time.

The 46-year-old actress Barbara Bowman has claimed that The Cosby Show’s star sexually abused her when she was a teenager.

In an interview with MailOnline, she has unveiled the shocking details of what she experienced in several occasions when she was young.

“I was drugged and raped by that man. He is a monster. He came at me like a monster. My hope is that others who have experienced sexual abuse will not be intimidated into silence by the famous, rich and powerful. If I can help one victim, then I’ve done my job,” Bowman said.

Bowman met the actor when she was 17 and, as the actress states, he served as a mentor who helped her to put forward her career and offered himself to act as a father figure, thus persuading her to trust him like a daughter trusts her father.

In the exclusive interview, Bowman has revealed how Cosby sexually assaulted her several times as well as drugged and raped her.

“I’m finally revealing all of my full story in hopes that others will learn to read the tell-tale signs of abuse and not wait as long as I did. No one believed me for years. They said Bill would never do that. That it was preposterous. But I’m putting my name out there and standing behind these words, just like Burress. No more code of silence,” she added.

This is not the first time the TV star is being accused of sexual abuse as approximately 14 females have opened up with the same appalling claims over 20 years.

The last allegations were aired last week, in Philadelphia, by comedian Hannibal Buress, who attacked the then-loved dad and funny Dr. Cliff.

In 2004, Cosby received a civil lawsuit from Andrea Constand, though two years later he settled the case under undisclosed terms.

But the victims mentioned above are only three of the allegedly 14 women who have reported of being raped, drugged and assaulted by Cosby.
