One Direction were the big winners at last night’s annual MTV Europe Music Awards taking home three awards.
On the great evening of music held at the SSE Hydro Arena in Glasgow, the English-Irish pop band came out on top picking up three prizes for Best Live Act, Best Pop Act, and Biggest Fan Groups.
The five-boy group couldn’t attend the international music awards ceremony and instead accepted their award on a pre-recorded video.
Nicki Minaj, the show’s host, performed some of her biggest hits and awarded the prizes to the other successful artists.
