Solange Knowles has tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Alan Ferguson in a private ceremony in New Orleans.
In an intimate and all-white ceremony held on 16 November in New Orleans, the American singer and model tied the knot with video director Alan Ferguson.
About 200 among family and friends attended the wedding and, of course, Solange’s older sister Beyoncé didn’t miss the occassion.
She attended the wedding in a white tight dress along with Jay Z and Blue Ivy also wearing the wedding color.

Festivities for the whole-weekend ceremony started on Friday night with a pre-wedding and film-themed bash at the Indywood Cinema Theatre. The big day arrived on Sunday at the Marigny Opera House, when the now-married couple arrived riding antique bikes with the bride’s one adorned with basket full of flowers.

Of course even the flowers and two-wheelers were decked out in white, the colour-theme the bride and groom picked for the wedding.
Solange’s elegant and simple, stunning suit with a cape and a V-neck perfectly complemented the no-tie attire wore by the groom. Her red lipstick and black, voluminous, curly hair accentuated her original look.

The bride’s 10-year-old son Danile Julez from her first marriage with Daniel Smith also attended the wedding.
Solange and Ferguson, 51, have been together for more than five years and even though the 28-year-old star is the more famous name in the relationship, Ferguson is far from being out of the celebrities list.
Ferguson is a talented videographer and director of music videos, who has worked with Beyoncé and husband Jay Z, Katy Perry, Fall Out Boy, Nelly Furtado and other big acts during his equally remarkable career.
The New York Daily News reports that “the second biggest wedding in Knowles family history was a rousing success”.
Congratulations to the new couple!
